After some careless play in the Gionel FC defense, Aílton Simão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jefferson Koehler. The Gionel FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jefferson Koehler should have stopped the shot. Duarte Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Queiroz in the 60th minute of the match. Jefferson Koehler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernandão Loyola's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Fernandão Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galo Azul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandão Loyola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filipe Donato hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Aílton Simão struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jefferson Koehler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galo Azul. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gionel FC's goalkeeper Jefferson Koehler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Aílton Simão came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Galo Azul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aílton Simão couldn't finish the play. Gionel FC's Jefferson Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Simão in the 96th minute of play. Fernandão Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jefferson Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
