After having played for 2 minutes, Unax Casabo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinheiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Unax Casabo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artaç Yatuk in the 5th minute of play forced São Paulo FC's goalkeeper Cristian Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Artaç Yatuk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Castro was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. São Paulo FC's Cristian Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unax Casabo in the 9th minute of play. Cristian Castro came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinheiro FC's Caco de Senna. But to his dismay, Caco de Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 17 minutes of play, Pinheiro FC's Artaç Yatuk made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Castro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Deivid Marques came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Pinheiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deivid Marques couldn't finish the play. Fernandão Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the São Paulo FC defense, Artaç Yatuk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Castro. The São Paulo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Castro should have stopped the shot. Sidney Lira was a little too slow when Durval Andrade got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 40th minute, Unax Casabo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41stth minute of the game Durval Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinheiro FC's Sidney Lira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in São Paulo FC's zone, Artaç Yatuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Castro came out of the goal and Artaç Yatuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Pinheiro FC were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artaç Yatuk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Castro came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinheiro FC's Artaç Yatuk. But to his dismay, Artaç Yatuk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. In the 65th minute, Artaç Yatuk made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Castro. São Paulo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. After 70 played minutes Pinheiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Caco de Senna. After a defensive mix-up in São Paulo FC's zone, Artaç Yatuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Castro came out of the goal and Artaç Yatuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Pinheiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Andrade came free, but Sidney Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in São Paulo FC's zone, Deivid Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Castro came out of the goal and Deivid Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Pinheiro FC booed when São Paulo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, São Paulo FC's goalkeeper Cristian Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artaç Yatuk. Unax Casabo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Castro. Cristian Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. Fernandão Vides's late challenge caught a Pinheiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernandão Vides helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes São Paulo FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Vides. After a rather tough play, Pinheiro FC's Unax Casabo got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Silvinho Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 88 minutes, Ciro Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. São Paulo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Castro came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinheiro FC's Artaç Yatuk. But to his dismay, Artaç Yatuk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-10. The São Paulo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pinheiro FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
