In the 4th match minute, Izumi F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Téo de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serginho Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Nóbrega in the 7th minute of the match. If Ricardinho Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Erik Soares fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Izumi F.C.'s protests and gave Erik Soares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute Téo de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Téo de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Marinho having to interfere. Giuseppe Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Serginho Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Luiz Fábio Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Téo de Carvalho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Izumi F.C.'s Serginho Marinho. Serginho Marinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dito Quirino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Izumi F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC BARCELONA were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardinho Lira to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Izumi F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Erik Soares. After a defensive mix-up in Izumi F.C.'s zone, Giuseppe Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serginho Marinho came out of the goal and Giuseppe Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duda Pereira hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Edinho Macedo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Virgílio Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC BARCELONA's Giuseppe Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serginho Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Nóbrega in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Téo de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC BARCELONA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Téo de Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Soares hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Izumi F.C.'s zone, Téo de Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serginho Marinho came out of the goal and Téo de Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC BARCELONA's Giuseppe Nóbrega slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serginho Marinho. That made the score 0-2 after 95 minutes of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC BARCELONA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
