Pinheiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caco de Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Pinheiro FC's Artaç Yatuk in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Izumi F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Serginho Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artaç Yatuk in the 12th minute of play. Pinheiro FC's Sidney Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Lira in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Pinheiro FC booed when Izumi F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artaç Yatuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Izumi F.C.'s Serginho Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unax Casabo in the 24th minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Artaç Yatuk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Izumi F.C.'s Serginho Marinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute Artaç Yatuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serginho Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artaç Yatuk in the 28th minute of play. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Artaç Yatuk sped through Izumi F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Serginho Marinho. Serginho Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Marques in the 37th minute of the match. Serginho Marinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artaç Yatuk went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute, one of Izumi F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Izumi F.C.. Izumi F.C.:s Serginho Marinho showed great skill when he stopped Silvinho Ortiz:s penalty. 46 minutes into the game, Silvinho Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Serginho Marinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Izumi F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pinheiro FC were winning 1-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Quirino in the 52nd minute of play forced Pinheiro FC's goalkeeper Sidney Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serginho Marinho was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Reynaldo Gitano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Reynaldo Gitano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. After 66 played minutes Izumi F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dito Quirino. Izumi F.C.'s Serginho Marinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Izumi F.C. from getting a goal against them. Ricardinho Lira hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Unax Casabo might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serginho Marinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Unax Casabo ran back to his position shaking his head. Serginho Marinho made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Artaç Yatuk sent off a good shot on target.
