In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mucui's goalkeeper Deivid Mesquita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Deivid Mesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Luís da Mata's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that André Luís da Mata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Deivid Mesquita was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Vila Osasco's André Luís da Mata ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Deivid Mesquita. Deivid Mesquita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. In the 86th minute, Mucui's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after André Luís da Mata fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
