Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelinho Silveira started the match with the kick off. When Seleção's Marcelinho Silveira in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirapituba AD's goalie prevented a goal. In the 5th match minute, Pirapituba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Romero to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pirapituba AD booed when Seleção was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavinho Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Marcelinho Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seleção's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelinho Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josué Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Afonsinho Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Agostinho Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonsinho Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute Marcelinho Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Silveira in the 32nd minute of play forced Pirapituba AD's goalkeeper Josué Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josué Madureira came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Seleção's Marcelinho Silveira. But to his dismay, Marcelinho Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Seleção's Kauã de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kauã de Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josué Madureira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Pirapituba AD's Josué Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Silveira in the 43rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Pirapituba AD defense, Gerson Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josué Madureira. The Pirapituba AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josué Madureira should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Naldo Guedes was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Naldo Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josué Madureira was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Agostinho Toledo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agostinho Toledo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Josué Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelinho Silveira's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Pirapituba AD's Josué Madureira got control of the ball when Marcelinho Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Kauã de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seleção's supporters rose to their feet, but Kauã de Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerson Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jânio de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Josué Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Adriano Motta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirapituba AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seleção the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pirapituba AD's Adriano Motta got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Agostinho Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Madureira having to interfere. Juvenal Marques made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Seleção's Flavinho Jacinto. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Kauã de Sena got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Marcelinho Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seleção's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelinho Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerson Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Madureira having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Seleção left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pirapituba AD.
