The tension between the Canoeira and the Pirapituba AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pirapituba AD booed when Canoeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Fernando Correia scored 0-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josué Madureira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Duda Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonsinho Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Pirapituba AD's Josué Madureira got control of the ball when Daniel Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rony Aparecido thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Duda Passos, a very annoying self made goal in the 72nd minute which led to 1-3. Rodrigo Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
