Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Betus FC's Dino Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Pombal in the 6th minute of play. When João Carlos Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Poaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Carlos Pombal couldn't finish the play. Dino Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Quadros's late challenge caught a Poaca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Quadros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Betus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Quadros to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Guilherme de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hadi Ercan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Poaca's Emílio Domingues got a free kick in the 16th minute. Caio Leal might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hadi Ercan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caio Leal ran back to his position shaking his head. Hadi Ercan made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Caio Leal sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Betus FC's Joaquim Quadros got a free kick in the 35th minute. Dino Tande stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvério Dionísio's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. If João Carlos Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvério Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 minutes, João Carlos Pombal made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Betus FC's Dino Tande tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Silvério Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Pombal in the 48th minute of the match. The Betus FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Poaca were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvério Dionísio to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Betus FC's goalkeeper Dino Tande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvério Dionísio. In the 55th minute Silvério Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvério Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dino Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Quadros hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Poaca's goal looked a bit too open when Caio Leal came free, but Hadi Ercan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Emílio Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Betus FC's Cléberson Salgado broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Caio Leal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hadi Ercan. Poaca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caio Leal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Betus FC's zone, João Carlos Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Tande came out of the goal and João Carlos Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Betus FC's Dino Tande got control of the ball when João Carlos Pombal tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Silvério Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hadi Ercan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. A collision led to Betus FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Joaquim Quadros hit a great ball. Silvério Dionísio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 98th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
