Henrique Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Bittencourt in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Richard dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Lagradouro's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard dos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wellington Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Wellington Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard dos Santos in the 51st minute of the match. If Richard dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Gernando Fonseca in the 64th minute really tested Henrique Amorim's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ronaldão Coelho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Pirambu EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Sport Club Lagradouro getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cléberson Neto hit a great ball. Sport Club Lagradouro's Henrique Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Coelho in the 74th minute of play. Serafim Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Serafim Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldão Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Ronaldão Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute, Sport Club Lagradouro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ronaldão Coelho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Richard dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wellington Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho Fernandes in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Richard dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wellington Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sport Club Lagradouro had won after a very even match.
