A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, ARSENAL FC's goalkeeper Silas Gomes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Tavares. Willian Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Sergipano in the 26th minute of play. Willian Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A collision led to Manduri getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Samuca de Toledo hit a great ball. ARSENAL FC's Ian Sergipano got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Sergipano in the 32nd minute of play forced Manduri's goalkeeper Willian Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betão Braga charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Betão Braga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Betão Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ian Sergipano to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes ARSENAL FC got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Lara. In the 52nd minute, Albertinho Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albertinho Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albertinho Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Silas Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manduri's Albertinho Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, ARSENAL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Camargo to maneuver through the defense. Albertinho Tinoco might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silas Gomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albertinho Tinoco ran back to his position shaking his head. Silas Gomes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albertinho Tinoco's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Albertinho Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silas Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Tinoco in the 72nd minute of the match. Samuca de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Willian Favoretto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Silas Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Tinoco in the 81st minute of play. Ian Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Favoretto having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
