Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albertinho Tinoco started the match with the kick off. Vinícius Paraíba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willian Favoretto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Anísio Lucas took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willian Favoretto. Willian Favoretto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 18th minute, EC Cubatão's Anísio Lucas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Willian Favoretto. Willian Favoretto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Alfredo Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anísio Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Favoretto having to interfere. Anísio Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anísio Lucas got free with Willian Favoretto in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anísio Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Favoretto having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Samuca de Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manduri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EC Cubatão the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Manduri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Manduri's Albertinho Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anísio Lucas struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Willian Favoretto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EC Cubatão. Vinícius Paraíba was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. EC Cubatão's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Tavares in the 48th minute of play forced EC Cubatão's goalkeeper Nestor Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anísio Lucas made a kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind EC Cubatão's goalkeeper Nestor Ribeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinícius Paraíba during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes EC Cubatão got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Paraíba. Nestor Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Tinoco in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Manduri's zone, Anísio Lucas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willian Favoretto came out of the goal and Anísio Lucas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nestor Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Alfredo Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manduri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manduri were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after EC Cubatão's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Germano Cardoso took the corner. Albertinho Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manduri's Joélson Rocha suffered a concussion in the 88th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Duda Macedo charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duda Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredo Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vinícius Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
