Spectators: 7106 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ronaldão Coelho kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Itaoca's Tarcisio Toscano got control of the ball when Ronaldão Paulista tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Francisco Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaoca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cipriano Motta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Francisco Mineiro sped through Pirambu EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wellington Chaves. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Francisco Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaoca's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wellington Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Mineiro in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarcisio Toscano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafim Bittencourt in the 42nd minute. Francisco Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Chaves having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Mineiro was the one to do the kick off. Sebastião Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wellington Chaves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Francisco Mineiro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Wellington Chaves, passed just outside the right post. In the 55th minute, Ronaldão Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wellington Chaves had great luck who in the 57thth minute grab hold of the ball when Francisco Mineiro from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Wellington Chaves made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Cipriano Motta sent off a good shot on target. Tarcisio Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wellington Chaves stood somewhat misplaced when Francisco Mineiro came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 64 minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Francisco Mineiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirambu EC's Wellington Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itaoca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirambu EC the free kick. Wellington Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Mineiro in the 79th minute of play. Francisco Mineiro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Wellington Chaves 81 minutes into the match. A hard shot 85 in the game by Francisco Mineiro from a close distance when the talented Wellington Chaves managed to make a qualified save. Pirambu EC's players were relieved. Tarcisio Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Bittencourt in the 89th minute of the match. With a little luck, Pirambu EC's Wellington Chaves got control of the ball when Francisco Mineiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisco Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Chaves having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pirambu EC's Gernando Fonseca got a free kick in the 94th minute.
