Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pangare's Zézinho Cardoso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pangare's goalkeeper Dedé dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 6 played minutes Pangare got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Castro. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pangare's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Germano Cardoso was slow to take the kick. During this time Manduri's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 10 minutes, Albertinho Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manduri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertinho Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zézinho Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Favoretto having to interfere. Sidney Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Willian Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Pangare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Castro to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Willian Favoretto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 24 played minutes Manduri got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Rocha. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertinho Tinoco in the 27th minute of play forced Pangare's goalkeeper Dedé dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Cássio Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zézinho Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Manduri's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zézinho Cardoso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Manduri's Samuca de Toledo got a free kick in the 40th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albertinho Tinoco made a kick off. Zézinho Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Favoretto having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Manduri's Albertinho Tinoco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dedé dos Santos. That made the score 1-1 after 59 minutes of play. Willian Favoretto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zézinho Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When Alfredo Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Manduri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Tavares couldn't finish the play. Dedé dos Santos made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Alfredo Tavares sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Manduri booed when Pangare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albertinho Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé dos Santos having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Sidney Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pangare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidney Mazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 minutes of play, Pangare's Zézinho Cardoso made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willian Favoretto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joélson Rocha hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Sidney Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Willian Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Zézinho Cardoso notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Manduri's Willian Favoretto. Willian Favoretto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sidney Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pangare fully deserved thier win.
