Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nelson Quirino started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Vidal in the 15th minute of play forced Tabuinha's goalkeeper Rodrigo Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Tabuinha got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Capixaba. If Oséias Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Real Minas's Cristian Bueno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Vidal in the 23rd minute of play forced Tabuinha's goalkeeper Rodrigo Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nelson Quirino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilmar Almeida. That made the score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Oséias Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséias Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oséias Vidal took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Cunha. Rodrigo Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Rodrigo Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Vidal in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Cristian Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oséias Vidal to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oséias Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rodrigo Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Oséias Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes, Kaká Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tabuinha and the Real Minas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kaká Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Cristian Bueno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. With his leg Rodrigo Cunha managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Real Minas's Cristian Bueno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Oséias Vidal might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oséias Vidal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute, Cristian Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodrigo Cunha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afonso Maia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 77 minute of play. Rodrigo Cunha made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Cristian Bueno sent off a good shot on target. When Afonso Maia came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Real Minas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Maia couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Oséias Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséias Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Bueno in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Nelson Quirino notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Real Minas's Gilmar Almeida. Gilmar Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Tabuinha fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Real Minas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
