A beautiful save bye Foz do Iguaçu FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Christian Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flabucas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Matorin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sydney Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Furtado was a little too slow when Hermínio Araújo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Henrique Furtado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christian Matorin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 26 minute of play. Christian Matorin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrique Furtado having to make a save. Foz do Iguaçu FC's Henrique Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Araújo in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sydney Cunha made a kick off. If Christian Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermínio Araújo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Furtado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernando Quadros's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Pedro Guilherme skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Araújo in the 60th minute of play forced Foz do Iguaçu FC's goalkeeper Henrique Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Hermínio Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Rosa hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Christian Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davi Albuquerque's late challenge caught a Flabucas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Davi Albuquerque helped the player get up and apologised. Davi Albuquerque hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Christian Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Furtado having to interfere. Hermínio Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Guilherme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Cunha in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Christian Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Furtado having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Flabucas FC's Christian Matorin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrique Furtado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christian Matorin struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Henrique Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flabucas FC.
