Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oswaldo Prado made the kick off which started today's match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Claros SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Areinha FC:s goal. The referee gave Areinha FC a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aílton Rocha, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Claros SC's Miguel Lima. 1-1. Areinha FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Nico Ramos scored to the left of an out of position Pedrinho de Alcântara, making the score, 2-1. Nico Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oswaldo Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Lima having to interfere. If Alfredo Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nico Ferreira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Pedrinho de Alcântara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nico Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Pedrinho de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nico Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Pedrinho de Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico Ferreira's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Alfredo Guedes took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Lima. Miguel Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Miguel Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Prado in the 60th minute of the match. Oswaldo Prado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Lima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Nico Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho de Alcântara having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Claros SC's zone, Oswaldo Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Lima came out of the goal and Oswaldo Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Areinha FC's Pedrinho de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Ferreira in the 80th minute of play. When Claros SC's Nico Ferreira in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Areinha FC's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the game, Nico Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Pedrinho de Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredo Guedes charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Guedes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 95 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Prado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Lima. Claros SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswaldo Prado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Claros SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
