Guga Paranaense started the match with the kick off. Horácio da Mata hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Gil Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga Paranaense in the 6th minute of the match. When Chico Trevisan fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSA's protests and gave Chico Trevisan a yellow card for diving instead. Chico Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes, Mr. Olimpia's Elói Favoretto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gil Lopez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mr. Olimpia reached it. Eliseu Ribeiro made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Leonardo Eger sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 11 minutes, Guga Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mr. Olimpia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guga Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CSA's Aílton Maranhense shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eliseu Ribeiro but with some difficulty. After 15 played minutes Mr. Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Guga Paranaense. Leonardo Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Ribeiro having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Danilo Furtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mr. Olimpia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSA the free kick. A collision led to Mr. Olimpia getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Danilo Furtado hit a great ball. In the 25th match minute, CSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Lira to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match Ivo Braga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gil Lopez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vinícius Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Eger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseu Ribeiro having to make a save. After having played for 33 minutes, Willian Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willian Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 played minutes Mr. Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Braga. Eliseu Ribeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Eger's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Leonardo Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Eger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseu Ribeiro was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Eger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matías Oliveira during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matías Oliveira hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Aílton Maranhense shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseu Ribeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Amauri Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mr. Olimpia defense, Leonardo Eger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseu Ribeiro. The Mr. Olimpia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseu Ribeiro should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd match minute, Mr. Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Eliseu Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Horácio da Mata shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseu Ribeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zé Carlos Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eliseu Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mr. Olimpia defense, Vinícius Jacinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseu Ribeiro. The Mr. Olimpia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseu Ribeiro should have stopped the shot. When CSA's Leonardo Eger in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mr. Olimpia's goalie prevented a goal. 82 minutes into the match, CSA's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Paranaense came free, but Gil Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, CSA's Gil Lopez got control of the ball when Nilmar Saraiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 played minutes CSA got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Maranhense. Eliseu Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Eger in the 89th minute of the match. During the 90th minute of the match Matías Oliveira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Matías Oliveira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Mr. Olimpia's Matías Oliveira got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92ndth minute of the game Leonardo Eger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mr. Olimpia's Eliseu Ribeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Willian Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Eliseu Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 minutes of play, Mr. Olimpia's Nilmar Saraiva made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mr. Olimpia succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though CSA had controlled the match.
