Clube de Regatas MEC's Manuel Sarmento got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar Torres hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Nico Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles Mattos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nico Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. Charles Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Ferreira in the 11th minute of the match. Oscar Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Lima having to make a save. After having played for 22 minutes, Oscar Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube de Regatas MEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Nico Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Torres in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Nico Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles Mattos. Clube de Regatas MEC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nico Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Manuel Sarmento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Miguel Lima made a huge save. Clube de Regatas MEC's Oscar Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nico Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Mattos having to interfere. Nico Ramos struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Charles Mattos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Claros SC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nico Ramos made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Nico Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Claros SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Mattos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nico Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Charles Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles Mattos came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Claros SC's Nico Ferreira. But to his dismay, Nico Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After a rather tough play, Claros SC's Pedro Paulo Lucas got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Clube de Regatas MEC. Zé Paulo Alcântara stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miguel Lima. 1-4. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Nico Ramos put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Charles Mattos. 77 minutes into the match, Claros SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel de Souza came free, but Miguel Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Clube de Regatas MEC's Gabriel de Souza got a free kick in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Clube de Regatas MEC's goalkeeper Charles Mattos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nico Ferreira. In the 86th match minute, Claros SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Messias to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Torres in the 87th minute of play. Oscar Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Lima having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Clube de Regatas MEC's zone, Nico Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Mattos came out of the goal and Nico Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Claros SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
