To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bebeto Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. José Pedro Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Lopez having to interfere. Willian Donato's late challenge caught a CSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willian Donato helped the player get up and apologised. Willian Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Akotipa's goalkeeper Christiano Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Eger. Leonardo Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Christiano Arósio made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the CSA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Akotipa.
