Claudinho Vianna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Guedes in the 8th minute. Claudinho Vianna came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Areinha FC's Luizão de Lara. But to his dismay, Luizão de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alfredo Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute Carlos Alberto Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Tropa de Exploração's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Valladares came free, but Claudinho Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinho Vianna was a little too slow when Carlos Alberto Valladares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 20th minute of the match, Luizão de Lara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claudinho Vianna was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 23rd minute, Oswaldo Prado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudinho Vianna. The goal made the score 3-0. Tropa de Exploração's Claudinho Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Prado in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Sidney Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 47 minutes, Alfredo Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Areinha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oswaldo Prado in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho Vianna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinho Vianna came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Areinha FC's Luizão de Lara. But to his dismay, Luizão de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Claudinho Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Claudinho Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Prado in the 63rd minute of play. When Areinha FC's José Pedro Novaes in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tropa de Exploração's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71st minute, João Augusto Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinho Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Prado in the 75th minute of the match. Pedrinho de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when João Augusto Vianna sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, João Augusto Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tropa de Exploração's supporters rose to their feet, but João Augusto Vianna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho de Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedrinho de Alcântara made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Augusto Vianna in the 81st minute. The supporters of Tropa de Exploração booed when Areinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Areinha FC's Pedrinho de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Vianna in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tropa de Exploração's Sidney Paiva got a free kick in the 97th minute. Areinha FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
