Matías Oliveira hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Oswaldo Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Ribeiro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Prado in the 8th minute of play forced Mr. Olimpia's goalkeeper Eliseu Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseu Ribeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oswaldo Prado went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Oswaldo Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Eliseu Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseu Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Prado in the 17th minute of play. Alfredo Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guga Paranaense made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Alfredo Guedes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55thth minute of the game Oswaldo Prado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mr. Olimpia's Eliseu Ribeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Oswaldo Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Areinha FC's Oswaldo Prado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eliseu Ribeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfredo Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match, Alfredo Guedes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eliseu Ribeiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eliseu Ribeiro made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Alfredo Guedes sent off a good shot on target. Adriano Palmeira's late challenge caught a Areinha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Mr. Olimpia booed when Areinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alfredo Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mr. Olimpia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Areinha FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
