If Zé Carlos Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Eger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedrinho de Alcântara having to make a save. Pedrinho de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Neiva in the 15th minute of the match. Gil Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Prado in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, Areinha FC's Alfredo Guedes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Areinha FC's Andrézinho Magalhães got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Mathias Barreto hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Alfredo Guedes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 30th playminute. In the 35th minute, Zé Carlos Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of CSA booed when Areinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Leonardo Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Mathias Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gil Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Leonardo Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oswaldo Prado made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Areinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos Neiva came free, but Pedrinho de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinícius Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Barreto in the 56th minute of play forced Areinha FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Pedrão Paraibano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Areinha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSA the free kick. After 57 played minutes Areinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Paraibano. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Leonardo Eger sped through Areinha FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedrinho de Alcântara. Leonardo Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Pedrinho de Alcântara made a huge save. José Pedro Novaes made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CSA's Chico Trevisan. Leonardo Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Pedrinho de Alcântara made a huge save. In the 82nd minute of the match, Leonardo Eger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedrinho de Alcântara saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pedrinho de Alcântara was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Zé Carlos Neiva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zé Carlos Neiva really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Zé Carlos Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonardo Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
