If Teodoro Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldinho do Nascimento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Breno Braga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Teodoro Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tamoata SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breno Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Breno Braga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldinho do Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in 8 DE NOVEMBRO FC's zone, Teodoro Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breno Braga came out of the goal and Teodoro Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodoro Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Braga having to interfere. In the 61st minute Ezequiel Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breno Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Salles in the 63rd minute of the match. Breno Braga made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ronaldinho do Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the match, Tamoata SC's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Lopes came free, but João Vítor Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Tamoata SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Augusto Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Breno Braga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldinho do Nascimento went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Tamoata SC's Breno Braga threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodoro Salles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 8 DE NOVEMBRO FC's Breno Braga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save 8 DE NOVEMBRO FC from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute Teodoro Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldinho do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Breno Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tamoata SC played a much better game than 8 DE NOVEMBRO FC and deserved their victory. The 8 DE NOVEMBRO FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
