Rafa Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Passos in the 9th minute of the match. Faustão Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nelsinho Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Cardoso in the 16th minute of play forced Serieme's goalkeeper Luan Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Faustão Passos rounded Lavrodonto FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. 23 minutes into the game, Lavrodonto FC's Jardel Cardoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luan Quintal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jardel Cardoso in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luan Quintal saved Serieme from getting behind. Luan Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Gustavo Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lavrodonto FC's Jardel Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 36 minutes, Jardel Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavrodonto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jardel Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelinho Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Quintal having to interfere. If Jardel Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Juarês Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juarês Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lavrodonto FC reached it. Marcelinho Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Quintal having to interfere. Lavrodonto FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
