Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edvaldo Viana started the match with the kick off. Cléber Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 8th minute Marcinho Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Paulo Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Rosado in the 14th minute of play. José Paulo Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcinho Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salchibegows FC's José Paulo Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Machado in the 16th minute of play. When Edvaldo Viana came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Salchibegows FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvaldo Viana couldn't finish the play. José Paulo Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Machado in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Rosado in the 25th minute of play forced Salchibegows FC's goalkeeper José Paulo Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Covid-19 got a corner. Salchibegows FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerônimo Aparecido ran over to the corner to take the kick. Salchibegows FC's José Paulo Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Rosado in the 30th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Amauri Queiroz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Rony Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Covid-19's zone, Edvaldo Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amauri Queiroz came out of the goal and Edvaldo Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvaldo Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Queiroz having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Salchibegows FC's Edvaldo Viana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amauri Queiroz. Amauri Queiroz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. José Paulo Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Rosado in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rony Rosado to make the kick off. If Gerson Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Rony Rosado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Paulo Gonçalves. Rony Rosado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 66 minutes into the match, Salchibegows FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Rosado came free, but José Paulo Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcinho Linares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Paulo Gonçalves came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcinho Linares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 70th minute. Leopoldo Breckenfeld scored 1-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Paulo Gonçalves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute Marcinho Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Clemente Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Marcinho Machado could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which José Paulo Gonçalves however easily saved by the left post. José Paulo Gonçalves made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Leopoldo Breckenfeld sent off a good shot on target. Giuseppe Goiano scored 1-5 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Paulo Gonçalves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Covid-19's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
