Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Caetano Silveira kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes Ibia got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Gaúcho. Caetano Silveira took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Paulo Gonçalves. José Paulo Gonçalves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerson Albuquerque got free with Zé da Silveira in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caetano Silveira hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Salchibegows FC's Gerson Albuquerque, in the 26th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Salchibegows FC. After having played for 28 minutes, Edvaldo Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salchibegows FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvaldo Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gerson Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Décio Hames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Gerson Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salchibegows FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Salchibegows FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ramiro Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Benjamin Quintal had to leave the field with a concussion. Ulisses Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibia's goalkeeper Zé da Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerson Albuquerque to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Henrique da Fonseca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Paulo Gonçalves skillfully saved the ball. After 58 minutes, Henrique da Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibia and the Salchibegows FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Albuquerque in the 61st minute of play forced Ibia's goalkeeper Zé da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gerson Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvaldo Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Edvaldo Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Albuquerque in the 71st minute of play forced Ibia's goalkeeper Zé da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Cristiano Almeida in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Salchibegows FC's Edvaldo Viana. 81 minutes into the match, Pedro Romero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Paulo Gonçalves. Salchibegows FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Romero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 89thth minute of the game Gerson Albuquerque who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibia's Zé da Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cléber Cosme came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Salchibegows FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cléber Cosme couldn't finish the play. Zé da Silveira came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Salchibegows FC's Gerson Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Gerson Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. There was no doubt that Salchibegows FC were the better team. Salchibegows FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
