Facebook Futebol Clube's Jailson Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Rosado in the 13th minute of play. Marcinho Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Fonseca having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Raúl Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcinho Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Facebook Futebol Clube's zone, Marcinho Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jailson Fonseca came out of the goal and Marcinho Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcinho Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jailson Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Rosado in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Michel Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Marcinho Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Covid-19's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcinho Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jailson Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Linares in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiaguinho Antunes got free with Amauri Queiroz in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rony Rosado to strike the kick off in the second half. Rony Rosado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jailson Fonseca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcinho Machado got free with Jailson Fonseca in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th match minute, Facebook Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Rony Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Silveira in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amauri Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rony Rosado might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jailson Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rony Rosado ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over Covid-19 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Facebook Futebol Clube throughout the match.
