Spectators: 7386 (Terracing: 5541, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 147) Erasmo Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolaus Heil in the 5th minute of play. With his leg Erasmo Montenegro managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Roldao's Frank Brodel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Frank Brodel got free in front of the goal in the 9th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Erasmo Montenegro was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Roldao's Nikolaus Heil was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Carlos Augusto Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Brito in the 23rd minute of the match. Erasmo Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Brodel in the 26th minute. Erasmo Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikolaus Heil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Roldao's zone, Chico Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Augusto Dracena came out of the goal and Chico Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Crissiumal's Erasmo Montenegro got control of the ball when Frank Brodel tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikolaus Heil in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Montenegro saved Crissiumal from getting behind. Danilo Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Nikolaus Heil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roldao's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikolaus Heil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Brodel to make the kick off. After 53 minutes Crissiumal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elder Simões who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Roldao's Elder Simões to fire away a dangerous shot which Erasmo Montenegro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 55th match minute, Roldao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Nunes to maneuver through the defense. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes Crissiumal got a freekick which was hit by Chico Ferraz. In the 91st minute, Remo Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibúrcio Gonçalves in the 92nd minute of play forced Roldao's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roldao's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
