Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tibúrcio Gonçalves kicked off to start the match. Armandinho Catarinense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Montenegro having to make a save. William Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Guilherme Sampaio in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibúrcio Gonçalves in the 10th minute of play forced BH Mavericks™'s goalkeeper William Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Luiz Guilherme Sampaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tibúrcio Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibúrcio Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Válbson de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Erasmo Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armandinho Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Nestor da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. BH Mavericks™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor da Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Oséias da Silva fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BH Mavericks™'s protests and gave Oséias da Silva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Oséias da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Rocha was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jean Moreno. Tibúrcio Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Rocha having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, BH Mavericks™'s goal looked a bit too open when Tibúrcio Gonçalves came free, but William Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Luiz Guilherme Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crissiumal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Guilherme Sampaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tibúrcio Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor da Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armandinho Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Guilherme Sampaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
