Spectators: 7148 (Terracing: 5350, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Válbson Mineiro started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Válbson Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Arósio in the 10th minute of play forced Quixoa AD's goalkeeper Raí de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Brahmeiro FC's Vitório Moreira got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Vitório Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Quixoa AD getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Eusébio Cabral hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Válbson Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raí de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Quixoa AD defense, Patrick Arósio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raí de Lara. The Quixoa AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raí de Lara should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Quixoa AD's zone, Carlos Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raí de Lara came out of the goal and Carlos Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute Afonso Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Passos charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Passos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Quixoa AD's Reynaldo Passos got a free kick in the 40th minute. The Quixoa AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brahmeiro FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Passos was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Brahmeiro FC's David Prata slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raí de Lara. That made the score 0-4 after 55 minutes of play. Raí de Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Mineiro in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Vitório Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Válbson Mineiro notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Quixoa AD's Raí de Lara. Raí de Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Brahmeiro FC's Válbson Mineiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raí de Lara. That made the score 0-7 after 73 minutes of play. 77 minutes into the match, Quixoa AD's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Mineiro came free, but Raí de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Válbson Mineiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Raí de Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Carlos Mello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raí de Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Quixoa AD's Raí de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Britto in the 95th minute of play. Brahmeiro FC played a much better game than Quixoa AD and deserved their victory. The Quixoa AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
