Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elano Faria took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fabiano Furlan hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. If Luan Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute of the match Chicão Lucas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Álvaro Velasco skillfully saved the ball. When Anselmo Queiroz fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio IGFC's protests and gave Anselmo Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Anselmo Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Paulo Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Jeferson de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rony de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio IGFC's zone, Elano Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Velasco came out of the goal and Elano Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 minutes, Alexandre da Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grêmio IGFC and the Jesters Sport Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexandre da Costa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Luan Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Álvaro Velasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 27th play minutes Jeferson de Senna shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Rony de Sousa and just under the crossbar into goal. Elano Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Álvaro Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Jeferson de Senna got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rony de Sousa came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio IGFC's Ricardinho das Neves. But to his dismay, Ricardinho das Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Álvaro Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Neto in the 44th minute of the match. Luan Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeferson de Senna to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Grêmio IGFC's goal looked a bit too open when João Paulo Catarinense came free, but Álvaro Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Jesters Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Ricardinho das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes in the game, Elano Faria fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Álvaro Velasco having to interfere. Luan Neto in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Álvaro Velasco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When João Paulo Catarinense fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jesters Sport Club's protests and gave João Paulo Catarinense a yellow card for diving instead. João Paulo Catarinense hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. João Pedro Borges, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Grêmio IGFC's Ricardinho das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Jesters Sport Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Grêmio IGFC:s goal. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Grêmio IGFC. João Pedro Borges stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rony de Sousa. 4-1. João Paulo Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Álvaro Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grêmio IGFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
