When Jonas Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Cruuz Credo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Guimarães couldn't finish the play. William Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giuseppe Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacek Rutkowski having to make a save. Marco de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Cruuz Credo FC's Pedrinho Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Cruuz Credo FC booed when Guarulight F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Guarulight F.C players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
