After a defensive mix-up in Cruuz Credo FC's zone, Falcão Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacek Rutkowski came out of the goal and Falcão Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeu Sergipano charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeu Sergipano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 31 minutes into the match, TFPN's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Paraense came free, but Breno Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Betão Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruuz Credo FC's Jacek Rutkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Cruuz Credo FC's Emerson Mandrak got a free kick in the 38th minute. Cruuz Credo FC's Pedrinho Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to TFPN getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Dieguinho Pereira hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emerson Mandrak during the 61st minute. The goalkeeper, Breno Ceresso, was totally fooled by Cruuz Credo FC's João Pedro de Amaral, who 68 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Breno Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TFPN's Cristiano Lucas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlos Eduardo Lopez in the 78 minute of the game. When Cristiano Lucas came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the TFPN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Lucas couldn't finish the play. Pedrinho Paraense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Breno Ceresso made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrinho Paraense got free with Breno Ceresso in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Falcão Rocha missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 90 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jacek Rutkowski right hand side. Breno Ceresso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrinho Paraense in the 96th minute. Breno Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Guimarães in the 97th minute of play. In the 100th minute, Carlos Eduardo Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dieguinho Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 102nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacek Rutkowski having to interfere. Cruuz Credo FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over TFPN's much stronger midfield.
