Rony de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Pimenta in the 11th minute of play forced Jesters Sport Club's goalkeeper Rony de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Augusto Sabóia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elano Faria showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Carlos Augusto Sabóia came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Jesters Sport Club's Luan Neto. But to his dismay, Luan Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 21 played minutes Soterópolis FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Pinheiro. When Elano Faria came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Jesters Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elano Faria couldn't finish the play. Carlos Augusto Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Augusto Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Faria in the 28th minute of play. Carlos Augusto Sabóia made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Luan Neto sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Pimenta in the 38th minute of play forced Jesters Sport Club's goalkeeper Rony de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Soterópolis FC's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luan Neto. Osmar Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Douglas Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jesters Sport Club's Rony de Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Paulo Catarinense hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elano Faria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Jesters Sport Club booed when Soterópolis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elano Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Carlos Augusto Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elano Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luan Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Jesters Sport Club booed when Soterópolis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisão Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luan Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Augusto Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Alexandre Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soterópolis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elano Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Carlos Augusto Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luan Neto in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Augusto Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Douglas Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Soterópolis FC booed when Jesters Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Alexandre Pimenta notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Jesters Sport Club's Rony de Sousa. Rony de Sousa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jesters Sport Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Soterópolis FC for a fine match.
