Odaze's Vitinho Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Alagoano in the 9th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Pocoes got a freekick which was hit by Kléber de Senna. If Eriberto Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitinho Montenegro came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pocoes's Norberto Alagoano. But to his dismay, Norberto Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gustavo Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Vitinho Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitinho Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After 39 played minutes Odaze got a freekick which was hit by Alan Paraibano. After 42 played minutes Pocoes got a freekick which was hit by Kléber de Senna. When Roberto Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Odaze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Travassos couldn't finish the play. Roberto Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Juarês Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Roberto Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Travassos in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juarês Falcão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 minutes, Norberto Alagoano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pocoes and the Odaze players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Pocoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Gustavo Medeiros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitinho Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Norberto Alagoano came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Pocoes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Alagoano couldn't finish the play. Odaze's Vitinho Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Alagoano in the 84th minute of play. Eriberto Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Vitinho Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pocoes. Gustavo Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Montenegro having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Pocoes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Odaze.
