Portovelhense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portovelhense's Dudu Tinoco. But to his dismay, Dudu Tinoco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Thanks to some nice moves Jacinto Chaves could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Romário Koehler however easily saved by the left post. If Jacinto Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. C. Atletico Pernabucano's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
