After having played for 5 minutes, Mathias Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miglioli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Cláudio Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitinho Montenegro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albertinho de Medeiros went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Albertinho de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Montenegro having to interfere. In the 26th minute, one of Odaze:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Odaze. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Miglioli FC. Pedro Paulo Antunes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vitinho Montenegro. 0-2. Jano Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Vitinho Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Paulo Antunes in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Travassos in the 38th minute of play forced Miglioli FC's goalkeeper Gilberto de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Miglioli FC's Mathias Pena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vitinho Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilberto de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Travassos's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Roberto Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Miglioli FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathias Pena to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Odaze's Antônio Mangueira got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A hard shot 54 in the game by Albertinho de Medeiros from a close distance when the talented Vitinho Montenegro managed to make a qualified save. Odaze's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chicão Maia during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Odaze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Maia to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Cláudio Tepedino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto de Almeida. Miglioli FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cláudio Tepedino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Chicão Maia was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 67th match minute, Odaze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Maia to maneuver through the defense. When Miglioli FC's Mathias Pena in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Odaze's goalie prevented a goal. Albertinho de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Vitinho Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Roberto Travassos sped through Miglioli FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilberto de Almeida. Albertinho de Medeiros succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 82nd playminute. When Odaze's Antônio Mangueira in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Miglioli FC's goalie prevented a goal. Antônio Mangueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto de Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antônio Mangueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Albertinho de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Montenegro having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Miglioli FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
