If Luís Eduardo Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Cléberson Negri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Neo Walker Football Club! Povinho's Sidnei Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Negri in the 36th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cléberson Negri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidnei Donatello was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Sidnei Donatello was a little too slow when Juvenal Abraão got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 2-1.
