After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Valdo Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nakatanni FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdo Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidnei Donatello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdo Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Sidnei Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sidnei Donatello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Povinho's zone, Valdo Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidnei Donatello came out of the goal and Valdo Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nakatanni FC's Leonardo Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdo Cruz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 22nd playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Valdo Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sidnei Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Povinho's Sidnei Donatello got control of the ball when Leonardo Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Povinho's goalkeeper Sidnei Donatello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonardo Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Sidnei Donatello made a huge save. Sidnei Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Barreto in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Leonardo Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nakatanni FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After having played for 55 minutes, Luís Eduardo Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Povinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Eduardo Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Nakatanni FC's goalkeeper Roberto Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guilherme Guedes. Roberto Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme Guedes in the 58th minute. After 61 minutes, Amauri do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nakatanni FC and the Povinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Amauri do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Nakatanni FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Conrado Alagoano hit a great ball. Guilherme Guedess short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Roberto Andrade to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Povinho's zone, Leonardo Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidnei Donatello came out of the goal and Leonardo Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Donatello having to interfere. Amauri do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Barreto struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Sidnei Donatello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nakatanni FC. Sidnei Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Motta in the 92nd minute of play. Leonardo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Donatello having to interfere. There was no doubt that Nakatanni FC were the better team. Nakatanni FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
