Donato da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Ramalho in the 21st minute. When Rodolfo Ramalho came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Skill Shortage fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Ramalho couldn't finish the play. If Oséas Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Ramalho took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato da Costa. Donato da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a little luck, Guaraniuva's Donato da Costa got control of the ball when Rodolfo Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato da Costa. Guaraniuva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Loyola to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredão Gomes got free with Rui Batista in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guaraniuva's goalkeeper Donato da Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Horácio Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Pedro Augusto Saldanha took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato da Costa. Donato da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Guaraniuva's Wilian Tasso got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Rodolfo Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rodolfo Ramalho came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Skill Shortage fans jumped to their feet. In the 82ndth minute of the game Rodolfo Ramalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaraniuva's Donato da Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodolfo Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Donato da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Oséas Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Ramalho in the 90th minute of play forced Guaraniuva's goalkeeper Donato da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Oséas Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skill Shortage's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséas Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Rodolfo Ramalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skill Shortage fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. If Rodolfo Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Skill Shortage fully deserved thier win.
