Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abelardo Santos got the match started through his kick off. If Juarês Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juarês Cruz couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, Marcinho Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oratorio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meninos da Vila U18 the free kick. A collision led to Oratorio getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Marcinho Peixoto hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Alfredinho Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Nóbrega having to interfere. A hard shot 22 in the game by Juarês Cruz from a close distance when the talented Edmílson Nóbrega managed to make a qualified save. Meninos da Vila U18's players were relieved. When Marcinho Peixoto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. Marcinho Peixoto hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Abelardo Santos scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino de Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oratorio's goalkeeper Severino de Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Alfredinho Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meninos da Vila U18's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredinho Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino de Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredinho Trevisan hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juarês Cruz to make the kick off. Severino de Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo Santos's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Juarês Cruz scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmílson Nóbrega, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Oratorio's zone, Abelardo Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino de Alcântara came out of the goal and Abelardo Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Santos in the 63rd minute of play. If André Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 minutes, Ademir Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meninos da Vila U18 and the Oratorio players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Meninos da Vila U18 got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Cruz. Enrique Passos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Juarês Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Nóbrega having to interfere. Alfredinho Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, Juarês Cruz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Edmílson Nóbrega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredinho Trevisan came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Severino de Alcântara could save by the left post. Oratorio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
