Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmílson Nóbrega came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Skill Shortage's Guilherme Trevisan. But to his dismay, Guilherme Trevisan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Rui Batista was a little too slow when Abelardo Santos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 24th minute Frederico Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Rodolfo Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmílson Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Augusto Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Nóbrega having to interfere. Rodolfo Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Edmílson Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Skill Shortage fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. If Pedro Augusto Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meninos da Vila U18's Edmílson Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Ramalho in the 39th minute of play. Skill Shortage's Reynaldo Xavier got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Ramalho made a kick off. Rodolfo Ramalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmílson Nóbrega read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Reynaldo Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Meninos da Vila U18's Edmílson Nóbrega got control of the ball when Rodolfo Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reynaldo Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Edmílson Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Skill Shortage's Rodolfo Ramalho in 82 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Edmílson Nóbrega guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The supporters of Skill Shortage booed when Meninos da Vila U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademir Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match was over Skill Shortage could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Meninos da Vila U18 throughout the match.
