Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tiago Vieira took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Vander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Coruja F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chiniqua the free kick. The supporters of Chiniqua booed when La Coruja F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4thth minute of the game Tiago Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Coruja F.C.'s João Francisco de Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiago Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco de Carvalho having to interfere. When Pedrinho Vander was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 15 minutes had been played. Pedrinho Vander hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Chiniqua's Tiago Vieira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Zonta in the 20th minute of play forced Chiniqua's goalkeeper Diego Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, La Coruja F.C.'s Luís Zonta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Camargo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luís Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Diego Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renan Vidal took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Francisco de Carvalho. João Francisco de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Coruja F.C.'s goalkeeper João Francisco de Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, La Coruja F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Vieira came free, but João Francisco de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, La Coruja F.C.'s goalkeeper João Francisco de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renan Vidal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Zonta was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, La Coruja F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Vieira came free, but João Francisco de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wanderson Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Coruja F.C.'s zone, Renan Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Francisco de Carvalho came out of the goal and Renan Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55thth minute of the game Tiago Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Coruja F.C.'s João Francisco de Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chiniqua's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Figueiredo in the 59th minute. João Francisco de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chiniqua's Tiago Vieira. But to his dismay, Tiago Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 72nd match minute, La Coruja F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Baptista to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Chiniqua's Luís Figueiredo tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Tiago Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Chiniqua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Vieira couldn't finish the play. If Tiago Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renan Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, Ademir Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Coruja F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chiniqua the free kick. Ademir Costa hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match.
