The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Eduardo Eger got free with Túlio Santos in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celsinho Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Santos having to interfere. Luiz Eduardo Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Túlio Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celsinho Damião struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Túlio Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Caobianco FC. Celsinho Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Celsinho Damião recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jauaraita's Túlio Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Eger in the 78th minute of play. Celsinho Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celsinho Damião struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. The Real Caobianco FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Jauaraita to win.
