In the 6th match minute, Gordos d B. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Leandro Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mané de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Tinoco in the 10th minute of the match. Fabiano Catarinense was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Otávio Mangueira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Otávio Mangueira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 19th match minute, Berserkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Teles to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the game, Nestor Passos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gordos d B.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berserkers the free kick. Otávio Mangueira kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Gordos d B.'s keeper Fabiano Catarinense was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After a rather tough play, Gordos d B.'s Bruno Vander got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Gordos d B.'s Fabiano Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Paranaense in the 24th minute of play. Fabiano Catarinense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otávio Mangueira in the 29th minute. Guilherme Vinhas charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guilherme Vinhas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Guilherme Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 38 minutes, Otávio Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berserkers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otávio Mangueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ernani Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otávio Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Catarinense having to interfere. When Otávio Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Berserkers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otávio Mangueira couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Otávio Mangueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mané de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Berserkers defense, Rogério Linares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mané de Alcântara. The Berserkers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mané de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. Rogério Linares succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 66th playminute. Leandro Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabiano Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Mangueira in the 74th minute of play. Mané de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Ernani Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabiano Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The Berserkers fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Berserkers's Otávio Mangueira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 93rd minute, Rogério Linares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gordos d B. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
