When Hugo Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the PELADEIRO F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Capixaba couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Hugo Capixaba fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 40th match minute, Jauaraita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as PELADEIRO F.C.'s Luís Silveira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Túlio Santos. That made the score 3-1 after 42 minutes of play. Túlio Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Capixaba made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Jauaraita's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrício Cosme came free, but Túlio Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Capixaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Jauaraita getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Cordeiro hit a great ball. Delfim de Lima took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Túlio Santos. Jauaraita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hugo Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luís Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PELADEIRO F.C. had played much better football throughout.
