After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Humberto Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Docimhas's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Matorin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandrinho Barbosa during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 82 minutes into the game, one of Berserkers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, Docimhas's Tostão Hermes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mané de Alcântara. If Otávio Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otávio Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Teles having to interfere.
