After a rather tough play, Berserkers's Percival Teles got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ernani Barros hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Ernani Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Berserkers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernani Paranaense couldn't finish the play. After having played for 71 minutes, Ramiro Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo VM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Berserkers's goalkeeper Mané de Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ernani Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Berserkers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernani Paranaense couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Ramiro Senna got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Berserkers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Flamengo VM had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
