An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Rezende in the 38th minute of play forced Pinhais F C's goalkeeper Hortêncio Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hortêncio Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Brito in the 85th minute of play. Hortêncio Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
