Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Régis Vale to make the kick off. Claudinei Recife made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galena's Elder Passos. Galena's Renan Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Velloso in the 57th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renan Chaves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Galena's Renan Chaves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Galena from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Betão de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galena's supporters rose to their feet, but Betão de Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerônimo Proença breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio Velloso got free with Renan Chaves in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Allejo 7 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Galena throughout the match.
